UN-Accredited Climate
Change
During the summer Mr Marshall
enrolled on a programme of study
to become an UN-accredited
Climate Change teacher. This
involved the completion of several
online modules and subsequent
assessments. The aim of the
programme
is
to
have
an
accredited
climate
change
teacher in every school who can
create and deliver classroom
content
relating
to
Climate
Change,
Education
for
Sustainability and
the
Sustainable
Development
Goals. For more

British and Irish Cross
Country International
We would like to say a massive
congratulations to Mrs Donnelly
from the Chemistry department
who was selected for the Scottish
Masters team at the British and
Irish Cross Country International
held at Aintree Racecourse.
Microsoft Innovative Educator
Experts 2019-20
Mrs Donnelly’s team did a brilliant
job and finished in Bronze position
– a fantastic achievement at the
international event.
After passing a variety of different
online courses through the Microsoft
Educator Community both Miss
Wyllie and Mr Simpson applied to
the MIE Expert program. This
involved
creating
a
Sway
presentation evidencing learning
and teaching taking place in the
classroom which showcased the
innovative use of technology. Both
were delighted to be chosen as MIE
Experts for 2019-20 joining a
professional learning network of
educators across the globe. The
program
gives
teachers
the
opportunity to provide feedback on
Microsoft products, participate in
pre-release programs for certain
education-related tools as well as
