Charity Colour
Walk
Our S6 leadership group
did a fantastic job
organising our very first 5k
Colour Walk. We were
very fortunate to have a
sunny day for the event
which saw students and
staff take part in a 5k
sponsored walk. The S6
leadership team created
coloured
chalk
for
students and staff to
walk through at the
starting line.
Some energetic students
and staff chose to run
the 5k with Sam Rice in S2
making it back to the
finish line first!
He managed to run the
entire 5k in 18 minutes - a
fantastic achievement –
which is not surprising
given that Sam also
holds the British U13 title
for the fastest 5K at 16
minutes and 35 seconds.
Well done Sam!
The colour walk was a
great success and the
school managed to raise
£3,345 for Crosshouse
Children’s Fund.
Congratulations

organise the event and
to all of those who took
part and donated to this
great cause.
