BBC Scotland - L . A . B Mr Reid – Sky Dive Training !

A massive thank you to the BBC Scotland LAB team who came in recently to work with a selection of our students to create a video on having a healthy body and mind . Our very own Mr Reid will be completing a skydive for a national charity Scottish Autism . The reason behind this was a friend ’ s son was diagnosed with Autism . The skydive was supposed to take place on Saturday 11th June 2022 it had to be postponed till 1 st August 2022 due to bad weather .
Mr Reid said that he was feeling both excited and nervous but he feels that his nerves will build up closer to the time .
The skydive will be taking place at Perth . Mr Reid would like to say a massive thank you to his fantastic colleagues , Mr Bell , Miss Madden and Mr McElnea for helping him with the training . We want to say ‘ good luck Mr Reid ’ from everyone at Marr College – we know you can do it and we hope there will be a video of the final dive ! STEM Assembly
The S1 STEM Assembly saw pupils in S1 receiving their Gold , Silver and Bronze STEM Awards . It was wonderful for students to hear from Gillian Baillie , our associated STEM Ambassador , who shared her journey into STEM .
