Since the MARQUEE launch last February , we ’ ve used this space to share some of my email communications with various contacts across industries .
It was my hope that this transparency would provide you with a glimpse into how this new media industry works , in terms of establishing relationships . We will continue in that direction with a twist : I created TAILORED MARQUEE in October as a complementary platform to deliver quick hits on items that I think will resonate with you as well .
Although I ’ d been weighing the thought of it , the above video and an email to SatoriShakoor at The Society of Twisted Storytellers sparked my own TALES FROM THE CRIB as a oneoff response .
This is what ’ s cool about being a native Detroiter . No matter who you are , no matter how long you ’ ve been gone , no matter how high you get , it is STILL home .
GrandDad taught me that a long , loooong time ago . And , this issue will give you a MARQUEE glimpse of Year One in Review .
