Plickers is the perfect solution for classrooms with limited devices. This program only requires one device (android or iPhone or iPad). The app is free. Students each have a paper clicker, or "plicker." Each paper card is marked with a faint A, B, C and D. Each card also has an assigned number so you know how each student answered. Students hold up their cards with the letter they chose on the top. You scan with your device and get instant feedback. You can set it up to where students answer anonymously, or where each student's name is associated with a given number. Also, results can be exported to an excel spreadsheet if needed. This is a great resource for quick, low-tech data gathering.

Quizizz is another whole-class quiz game. It is similar to Kahoot with one major difference. Each student sees the question on their individual screen instead of having to look at what is being projected at the front of the classroom. Also, students can move through the quiz at their own pace. Just like in Kahoot, the faster the student answers, the more points he/she will recieve. You have the option to turn off the leaderboard/timer that way students don't feel as stressed if they want to move at their own pace. Another nice feature is that a Quizizz can be left open for up to 2 weeks, so you can use this for homework or even test reviews.
