If you have a google account, you can create a google form. Students do not have to have an account to fill out the form. There are lots of options for questions and you can add links, images and videos to your questions. There are also ways to set up the form to be graded automatically. Students can access the form through a ling, QR code, or by embedding in a webpage.

Conduct live, multiple choice and open-ended polls. Results instantly display on the teacher computer. Poll Everywhere also has a word cloud feature that creates a word cloud based on responses received. The more often a word is submitted, the larger it appears in the cloud. Students do not need an app to participate, just a device with internet access.

Quizalize allows you to play class quiz games similar to Kahoot! You can make your own quiz or use a pre-made quiz. Students log in with a game code and are randomly assigned a team. The teacher can display team progress on the projector, or the teacher can look at individual responses to see how students are doing and monitor progress.
