The gift that
keeps on giving
Busy creating happiness
Giving thanks to family, friends,
workmates and employees
is not always top of mind,
but sisters Ngaia Gill and
Natasha Vincent are making it
easier for people to show their
appreciation with their great
little gift-giving business.

Ngaia and Natasha established The
Gift Sisters three years ago, as a way
to work from home while raising
their young children.
At the time, Natasha’s youngest
was 10 months old and they were
planning a move to Blenheim while
Ngaia had discovered she was
pregnant with her third son.
The premise behind their business
is simple: encourage and foster
appreciation between people by
providing a gift-giving service for
businesses and busy people.
“Everyone wants to be recognised
and appreciated for what they do,”
says Ngaia. “Studies have shown
how recognising your employees’
efforts improves company culture,
lowers employee turnover and
increases employee engagement and
happiness.”
