Your journey to love is going to be a wonderful
story to tell to the next generation, it will be
the new fairy tale of the future. One day,
when a little curious cherub asks you how you
met each other, how will you tell the story?
We have talked about this a lot. I think it’s
really special that we will be able to show our
kids the exact moment we met! I don’t think
a lot of people will have that on film, so that’s
pretty awesome!
Why do you think the way we meet new
partners has changed, whether it be online,
via social media or social experiments?
I think the dating game is just following the
natural progression of technology. Technology
is moving so quickly, and there are so many
ways to make our life easier, whether it’s one
hour delivery from Amazon, fitness apps etc.,
basically all designed so we don’t have to go
out of our way for anything. Dating doesn’t
seem to be any different; why go out to bars
when you can meet people from the comfort of
your own home?! It’s an interesting era and I
don’t think there’s anything wrong with trying
alternative methods of meeting someone –
sometimes you have to take a risk in life for the
chance at something amazing.
What do you think are the pros and cons
of the new ways of being introduced to love?

the experience has
influenced her views on
finding love.
The pros are that you have the opportunity to
meet far more people than you would have
by just being in the same place at the same
time. In terms of cons, it can sometimes
mean being judged more on your physical
appearance as you’re not in a natural setting
to get to know someone properly. Perhaps it
makes people a little more judgemental.
The world has become much easier to move
around in, resulting in many relationships
becoming long distance or partners relocating
for loved ones. What sort of pressure do you
think that has on the relationships of today?
A long-distance relationship is never easy.
I always admire people who can make that
work long term. In this day and age, there’s
Skype, Facetime etc., which can alleviate
