Start by cutting four strips of melamine 4 cm wide , using a circular or table saw , and cut the strips to length . Once you have the four pieces to size , screw them together to make a rectangular form . You can hot glue it down to a bigger melamine piece , creating the bottom of the form and then caulk the inside corners and edges with silicone . Make your concrete mix and then fill the form , being sure to push the mixture into the corners . You can set in a piece of wood ( coated with polyurethane to keep out moisture ) that will later be used to attach the wood base to the concrete top . Secure it with scrap wood and
