6. Slogans

Just do it! I'm lovin' it! Eat fresh. These slogans belong to Nike, McDonald's, and Subway, respectively. A catchy slogan helps build your brand and make your message stronger. A slogan should be short, fun, and unique to the company. It is a snippet of your brand's image.

7. Be Consistent

Keep all messages regarding the brand image and development. Consistency is key! You want to keep the brand image and culture consistent. The more the customer hears the same story, the more memorable it will be. Plan out communications ahead of time so that you can be sure that all of your communication tools are giving out the same information.

8. Create an Experience

Create an experience that will stay with the customer for a lifetime. Sports teams are especially good at this because their success is largely dependent on it. Make an experience that is unique, fun, and memorable. It can be an event, concert, web event, or anything else that can help create a positive experience.

9. Engage Customers

Create dialogue with your customers. This can be done via face-to-face interaction or online. In order for your customer to feel connected to you and your company, you need to reach out and pull them into your company with wide open arms.

10. Have Effective Communication

Make sure all of your communication tools have all been planned out and feed off one another. The communication tools should compliment each other, but still be able to stand alone.
