Involvement by industry in workers’ training and upskilling programs and their
relationship with educational and TVET entities as well as with government agencies
in the workforce development space

Collaboration with training providers to develop accredited training packages in line
with NOSS developed for the sector and sub-sector workers; which are then applied to
train workers specifically for the industry. This shall include the way educational and
TVET institutions serve the workforce needs of the sector and sub-sector
k) Interaction with educational and training providers where potential workers may be
sourced for employment in the sector and sub-sectors (to cover the pipeline of worker
supply at different qualifications or job categories)

List of qualifications, courses or training packages with their respective providers,
length of time required and associated fees linked to occupations relevant to the sector
and sub-sector as well as the foundation skills relevant for workers within the sector
and sub-sector
m) Recommendations on meeting any current and potential worker shortages, skills gaps
and skills enhancement within the sector and sub-sector workforce
n) Current and recommended initiatives to retain staff: career development & progression,
work-life balance, workplace environment, work time flexibility, childcare
