Judges : Kim Ziegler Absent . Roy presented the Judges Committee report .

Tessa Drevlow and Darlene Vsetecka have elected to not renew their WSCA Judges Cards . Dick Ochs has elected to officially retire after 45 years as a WSCA Judge . There will be a recommendation made to the Chair of the Judges Committee that some type of recognition be awarded to Dick . Vonnie Olson does Judge some classes at WSCA shows and wants to remain listed in the Rule Book .

New WSCA Judges , Clara Buchal and B . J . Peterson

Sara Gronski and Lindsey McNeill will not be listed in the 2022-2024 Rule Book at this time . The Judge ’ s Committee is assessing how to put on them on leave and return them to active status at a time to be determined .

Have received renewals and checks from all except one Judge . They will plan on renewing and will send in their check and paperwork .

The 2022 Judges Seminar is scheduled for March 5 , 2022 , at Running Aces Hotel . The current plan is to have hybrid option of in person or virtual attendance . Will contact the hotel to see if they will offer discounts , as some Judges might be staying overnight for the General Meeting on March 6 ^th .

Marketing & Promotions : Rachel Duenow Working on new looks for 2022 marketing material . Updating information for Royalty for MN Horse Expo . Working on Facebook event pages . Rachel is looking for someone to assist with the Marketing & Promotions .

Nominating : Kevin Berger Absent . Nothing to report .

Procedures : Sandy Strube / Sara Schwartz Sent out the Barn Manager procedure to Steve for review . Added that is a sub-committee of the Champ Show Committee . Additional changes were made as noted . Listed the corrected Procedure to change a Procedure , so each Committee member knows how to make a change . Motion made by James Duenow , seconded by Josey Peterson to approve Barn Manager procedure . Motion carried unanimously .

Working on Royalty and Publicity and the Qualification Procedure . Reviewing the High Point tabulation procedure .

Publicity : Lori Taylor : Lori presented the Publicity Budget . Motion made by James Duenow , seconded by Josey Peterson to approve the Publicity budget . Motion carried unanimously .

Emily Berger – WSCA Queen and Ashley Zutz – WSCA Princess represented WSCA at the NFR . They were well received at NFR with lots of smiles , pictures , and even autographs . The Royalty Court attended Horse Crazy Market on December 4 ^th . The booths gave the Court good ideas for volunteering . They did Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army at the MOA December 18 ^th and raised $ 380 . They will be attending the Winter Carnival Parade and Cowgirl luncheon on January 29 ^th . They will be attending banquets for Painted Sunrise and MN Valley Riders . In February , they will be at the Arena Trailer Sales open house . The Royalty Show will be June 19 , 2022 , at the JRD Ranch

Royalty has received their jackets , vests , and polo shirts .

Royalty : Bridget Behrns Absent . Nothing to report .

Rulebook : Cindy Ladd On page 19 of the Rule Book for Approved Safety Equipment , it states “ Plastic pipe , painted white …”. Cindy would like to revise it to remove the comma and add “ or .” Motion made by James Duenow , seconded by Amber Duncanson to approve noted change in the Approved Safety Equipment section in the Rule Book . Motion carried unanimously .
