Step 5- Decorating Your Crowns
Mix Colour Mill lustre blend with a small splash of decorator ' s alcohol until you achieve a thick yet spreadable paste. Using a soft, food-safe brush, paint the cooled, fully dried crowns with the mixture. Set aside and allow to dry completely, before painting the inside of the crown.
Tip: For those wishing to make a bolder statement, sprinkles or edible pearls may be added while the paint is still slightly tacky- a little extra never goes unnoticed in society.
Pro Tip: Edible glitter works best when applied over a slightly tacky surface like piping gel or glaze.
