Continue using the light buttercream and piping tip # 21 with coupler , pipe a second shell border at the base of the cake .
Step 11 Step 12 Change the tip to the # 33 tip and start piping small rosettes ( small circles ) on the side of the cake . I generally pipe in groups of 1 , 3 or 5 rosettes around the cake .
Using the white buttercream and leaf tip , add some small leaves around the rosettes .
