Welcome to March ! We are entering one of our most exciting times of year with great weather , fun events for the Members , and the course emerging from dormancy .
Overall , we are thrilled with the condition of the course . Moving into Spring means a lot of course preparation for our growing season . We will be pre-emerging and fertilizing the whole course in the first weeks of March . Other preventative maintenance , like mole cricket prevention , top dressing , and herbicide applications , will take place too . There may be instances where tee times are limited for work to be completed . Please make sure to check with the Pro Shop frequently when booking tee times .
Congratulations to the winners of this year ’ s St . Johns Stableford . It is fun to play a unique format in a major tournament and shifts up the routine of stroke play events . Speaking of different formats , Match Play starts this month ! Our format is a great , quick , way for this event to be played . Make sure to see the Golf Shop or check online for the event ’ s details .
A big thank you to hard work and effort the Competition Committee . The work and assistance that has been provided to Brad and his staff has been amazing .
