HOW WE STARTED
D . Palmieri ’ s Bakery opened its doors nearly fifty years ago on Killingly Street in Johnston and it remains there to this day . Domenic Palmieri and his wife , Gloria , started with a tiny storefront selling just a few items and quickly became the talk of the town .
WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE
D . Palmieri ’ s Bakery is run by the oldest baking family in Rhode Island , now in its fifth generation . Our customers tell us that our pizza strips are second to none , and we recently started offering custom pizza designs . Recently featured on CNN and Fox News , we create eye-popping art using only natural ingredients , adding a new , fun dimension to family gatherings across the state .
