BAVARIA HOCKEY
U14s UPDATE:
Top of the table, Bavaria Hawks have enjoyed first round successes with Bavaria Falcons a close second, having only lost to the Hawks. The Bavaria Hawks have grown in numbers to the point that two teams have been entered into the league; the Blues are the stronger side and, although without a win to date, the Pinks are showing potential.
ONES TO WATCH:
Captains of the Blues team, Gisela Panayiotou and Demi Zarb `are shining in this age category. Demi Zammit and Paris Chelleram (Falcons) are growing in confidence. These two control the game and they are now supporting younger players.
U16s UPDATE:
The Bavaria Hawks are also leading the table in this age category, having beaten both boys' teams for the first time. The Bavaria Falcons, a younger side, have come close to beating the boys as well, showing progression in development across the Bavaria teams.
ONES TO WATCH:
In the Falcons side, mention must go to young goalkeeper, Kylie Duarte, who is now playing in the older reserves squad at the weekends. Her commitment and enthusiasm are second to none. Also, centre back, Erin Wilkie, is proving a difficult force for attacking opposition. Hawks talents Abi Bellingham and Amelie Pritchard, are both fully integrated in the reserves side too.
