to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar, the elements will be dissolved in the fire, and the earth and its works will not be found.… I Peter 3:9-10
The resurrection of the Lamb of God shows us that the resurrection is available for the SPIRIT of every man. John 4:24 teaches us that
God is Spirit and they that worship HIM must worship Him in spirit and truth.
Our spirit man is born dead and disconnected from God which is consistent with the death of the spirit in Adam our human father. From him, all of us are born disconnected spiritually from God but because He is the resurrection, when we invite Him in out our hearts to be our Lord & Savior then our spirit made is made alive. We are re-generated and we are reGENED. We now have the spiritual DNA of our heavenly Father and NONE of this possible without the resurrection of Christ.
His birth ALONE couldn't get us in the Kingdom.
His sinless life ALONE couldn't reconcile us back to God.
Not even His death ALONE could give us eternal life.
BUT the resurrection makes it all possible and that's why we celebrate that the LAMB GOT UP!
Let us pray:
HOLY is the Lamb and we bless Your name today. We thank You for living a sinless life, dying the death we so deserved and then rising from the grave! Thank You for making it possible to connected to our Heavenly Father as children & servants to You in Your Kingdom. Today we pray that our hearts burn with passion to share this great testimony with others, that we introduce others to Your Kingdom and that You use us to snatch them out of darkness into Your marvelous light! These things we ask in Jesus' name! AMEN!
