Good day and welcome to your Kingdom Connection for March 2018- Week 4: GOOD FRIDAY! This Good Friday, I am at our Kingdom Power Retreat! How apropos to be learning about God's Power during the time frame His Power would be known all over the world through His RESURRECTION! I'm not big on whooping in churches but I do love when a preacher goes IN on how:
Buddah! DIDN'T GET UP!
Muhammad! DIDN'T GET UP!
Hare Krishna! DIDN'T GET UP!
But Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, the Lamb of God DID! The Apostle Paul provides one of the greatest rhetorical comments regarding Christ's Resurrection:
But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. 14 And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is worthless, and so is your faith.…
I Corinthian 15:12-14
Christ is considered the First Fruit
But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.…
I Corinthian 15:20-21
Christ is the first born of many Brothers
For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers. Roman 8:29
We must all understand that the RESURRECTED LAMB begins the citizenship availability into the Kingdom of God spiritually! Christ is the King. He was born a King. The wise men knew it and King Herod feared it. The Jews had been longing for Him and the religious Jews lied and arranged his death to keep Him from becoming THEIR King. But nothing could nor would keep Him from His appointed position as the King of kings and the Lord of Lords. His resurrection was the final step in allowing all of the believers from the Old Testament who were waiting in the bosom of Abraham and for every NEW Testament or those of us under the NEW Covenant with God, to enter into His Kingdom.
Christ our King even informed Pilot that
Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world; if it were, My servants would fight to prevent My arrest by the Jews. But now, My kingdom is not of this realm.” 37 “Then You are a king!” Pilate said. “You say that I am a king, Jesus answered. “For this reason I was born and have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to My voice.” John 18:36-37
We are not just here to live and then die. The supernatural world is more real than the world we are experiencing now. Souls NEVER cease to exist. They all were created by and belong to God. While the Lake of Fire was made for the fallen angels, sinful men who never embrace the salvific plan of Christ will spend their eternity there as well. God shows us and then tells us that:
The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise as some understand slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come
23 F23 For the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you. 24 And you shall observe this thing as an ordinance for you and your sons forever. 25 It will come to pass when you come to the land which the Lord will give you, just as He promised, that you shall keep this service. 26 And it shall be, when your children say to you, ‘What do you mean by this service?’ 27 that you shall say, ‘It is the Passover sacrifice of the Lord, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt when He struck the Egyptians and delivered our households.’” So the people bowed their heads and worshiped. 28 Then the children of Israel went away and did so; just as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.or the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you. 28 Then the children of Israel went away and did so; just as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.
