We are not here to come up with our own ways to serve and love God. He has spelled it out clearly in His Holy Word.
The challenge is :
1) Independent GOATS want to acknowledge God not serve God.
2)Independent GOATS want to thank God not owe Him THEIR lives.
3) Independent GOATS want to think about God not learn God's ways
4) Independent Goats want to speak about God not allow God to speak through them
5) Independent Goats want to live and NOT die to themselves
There is no room for self in Christ's Kingdom. If we want to follow Christ, He tells us to deny ourselves and pick up our cross BEFORE we can follow Him (Make 8:34).
Goats aren't trying to deny themselves and they aren't interested in the burden of ministry hence they are never in a spiritual position to follow Christ NOR His Christ's appointed leadership.
Being independent is going to cause a great many a sad judgment day with THEIR Lord. Knowing OF God is not the same as knowing God. Even if you attend church regularly but are not a true part of the work of the Lord, you are being nothing more than an agnostic. We must be one with the flock. Working TOGETHER! Praying TOGETHER!
Learning TOGETHER!
And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul:
Acts 4:32
They ALL had the same desire and same passion which was the will and ways of Christ their King. We can't be independent & ONE.
Let us pray:
Dear God, We come before You blessing Your name on today. We thank You for a heart & a mind to serve You. Today we lift up our lives to You. We ask that things that are unlike You, remove them. Ways that are contrary to Your word, change them. Decisions that are not like Yours, reverse them. Make us into the image of Christ. Make us one with our spiritual family. We bind divisiveness and independence and we loose unity among us ALL! These things we pray in Jesus name! AMEN!
