PRINTING AND EXPORTING GAMES AND
POSITIONS
The utility and universality of chess notation makes it easy
for players and writers to share chess games and ideas,
both in print and electronically. Chess King provides you with
the tools you need to share games and positions with other
players in print form and online (via e-mails, web pages, and
even blogs). In this chapter we'll learn how to print and export
chess games and positions using Chess King.
After loading a game from a database, the “quick and dirty”
way to export the game notation is to click the yellow Menu
button and select “Copy”, and then pick either PGN or EPD as
a copy option:
• Selecting PGN will copy the notation for the whole game to the
Windows Clipboard, while selecting EPD copies just the notation for the
current board position to the Clipboard.
