PART 2 • Using game analysis features
• “Evaluation” is an advanced function which lets you add computerstyle numerical evaluations to moves in your game. You can also
change and delete evaluations which are added by the Houdini chess
engine in games you play within the Chess King program as well as
those you have the Houdini engine analyze; we'll learn more about
Houdini's analysis later. The radio buttons at the top of this dialogue let
you add and change a move's evaluation symbols (but these symbols
are provided as quickly used buttons at the top of the dialogue, so
you would seldom use them here except to change an engine's
evaluation). Everything in the “Evaluation” tab is part of an advanced
and very specific user feature and would seldom be useful for general
annotations.
