PART 2 • Using game analysis features
You can add a square, circle, or cross just by clicking on
the square where you want the marker to appear. “Area” is a
special symbol which can be used two ways. You can color
a single square by clicking on it, or you can color a group of
squares by clicking and dragging the mouse cursor to color a
group of squares at one time:
• Drag the mouse sideways to highlight the squares on a single rank, up
or down to highlight squares on a file, or you can even highlight a block
of squares (as seen in the illustration above).
• You can erase a marker by clicking the radio button beside “Erase
marker” and then clicking on the marker you wish to remove. Click
“Erase all markers” to get rid of all markers associated with that move at
one time; this command erases all markers currently on the screen.
• When you've finished adding markers and want to return to entering
moves, click the radio button beside “None” to go back to normal move
entry mode.
