PART 2 • Setting up your own challenge
When you roll your mouse over the control panel or
description panel, the latter panel displays more information
about your random game:
• The description panel will repeat the specific settings from the control
panel, but will also give an Elo approximation which reflects the random
challenge's toughness. It also displays a “Level”, but the levels in this
mode aren't scaled in the same way as those found in Quest Mode.
The positions you set up in Random Game mode tend to be a bit easier
than Quest Mode challenges, so this feature uses its own scale for
Levels of challenge.
TIP: The Elo rating approximation and level are determined completely by
the “Advantage” slider's setting: the lower the advantage, the higher
the Elo and Level assigned to the game. The higher the Elo and Level,
the more experience points you'll score for a win.
