MISD MAKES HONOR ROLL OF TOP- PERFORMING DISTRICTS IN TEXAS
Mansfield ISD is one of just 63 school districts in Texas named to the Educational Results Partnership’ s 2024 Honor Roll of top-performing school districts. Of those, only three districts in Tarrant County received the distinction— placing MISD in the top 9 percent of all eligible districts statewide.
“ We are honored our educators and students are being recognized for the excellence they strive for every day,” said Superintendent Dr. Kimberley Cantu.“ It is an affirmation that we are meeting our goal to ensure every graduate leaves Mansfield ISD life, career, and college ready.”
The Educational Results Partnership Honor Roll recognizes public schools in Texas that have outperformed their peers in closing achievement gaps, particularly among higher-poverty and historically disadvantaged student populations. The campaign also engages business leaders in celebrating successful districts that are preparing students with the skills needed for success in the workforce and in life.
In addition to district-wide recognition, the partnership also named individual campuses within high-performing districts to the 2024 Texas Honor Roll. Honorees in MISD include:
• Early College High School at Timberview
• Frontier STEM Academy
• Brooks Wester Middle School
• Elizabeth Smith Academy
• Roberta Tipps Academy
• Martha Reid Academy
• Cora Spencer Elementary School
• Nancy Neal Elementary School
• Brenda Norwood Elementary School
• Mary Orr Intermediate School
• Mary Lillard Intermediate School
• Alma Martinez Intermediate School
Honor Roll results are based on student performance data from the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness( STAAR) from the 2022 through 2024 academic years.
