“ I could not be prouder of how our students represent themselves , their school , and their community .”

ANDREW NANCE
Legacy High School Band Director
Holman , who plays the clarinet , has been with the LHS band program since she was a freshman .
She was excited to learn her group won the Medal of Distinction because she knows she and her classmates work hard .
Sophie Stillings , senior percussionist , has also been a part of the LHS band program since she was a freshman . Stillings says the award is a reflection of how hard her fellow musicians work , and it ’ s a great representation of their director , Nance .
“ Any time we have success as a program it comes down to the individuals and how our band members prepare and practice . I could not be prouder of how our students represent themselves , their school , and their community ,” said Band Director Andrew Nance .
