These students at Frontier STEM Academy are diving into their Future Forward project . With the projects , learners collaborate with local businesses to try to solve a problem and create a viable product for the betterment of the community .
A Rogene Worley Middle School student ( Roxye Pierce ) was a finalist in the Teens Dream Changemaker Challenge . The competition , hosted by The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History , prompts students to create a video explaining a solution to a global issue .
Congratulations to MISD ’ s new spelling bee champ ! Dejanira Castillo , from Asa Low Intermediate School , won with the word “ encore .”
