MISD Education Foundation Reaches $3M
in Grant Giveaways
fter the completion of the spring grant patrol, the Mansfield ISD Education Foundation has reached the $3
million mark in grant giveaways.
The Education Foundation completed its 35th round of grants on March 23 by surprising unsuspecting teachers
and staff. Sixteen grants were funded this
semester totaling more than $61,000.
The Education Foundation is a non-profit
organization that was created to support
the educational programs of teachers
in MISD. The organization is a source
of funding to the district’s teachers and
students for projects and activities that go
beyond the normal classroom experience.
