Three alumni join board with Zeglis at helm
Manchester’s Board of Trustees got a new chair on Jan. 1 and
welcomed three new trustees, all MU alumni.
John D. Zeglis of Culver is the new board chair, succeeding Randy
Brown ’87, a Fort Wayne attorney who served as a trustee since 2005.
Zeglis is the retired president of AT&T and former chairman and
CEO of AT&T Wireless after its IPO and spinoff from AT&T. He
also is founder of the NBA D-League team the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

“We appreciate the extraordinary leadership skills and knowledge John
brings to the board,” said Manchester President Dave McFadden. “His
insights and those of Randy Brown have been invaluable as we meet
today’s challenges and plan for the years ahead.”
The new trustees are Timothy Airgood ’86 of Cleveland Heights,
Ohio, Sara Edgerton ’70 of Indianapolis, and Stephen Reid ’73 of
Waco, Texas.
Timothy Airgood ’86
Airgood earned an accounting degree from Manchester. He is
retired as the director of international tax for United Technologies
Inc., a multinational company concentrated in aerospace research,
development and manufacturing.
Edgerton, a history major, previously served on the board from 2004
to 2013. She co-founded Community Cancer Care Inc., which became
the largest provider of medical cancer care in Indiana.

Reid is a professor of Christianity at Baylor University’s George W.
Truett Theological Seminary. He maj ored in religion at Manchester
and earned his Master of Divinity from Bethany Theological Seminary
and his Ph.D. from Emory University.
