The produce is grown using conscientious agricultural practices that integrate modern methods with triedand-true farming traditions . Immersive , educational tours are also hosted onsite , which highlight the transformative power of sustainable agriculture .

The Vision Unfolds
Hill Farm by Sagra is located on the former site of an old Southern Vermont dairy farm . The farm takes its name from its original stewards , the Hill family , who first acquired the property in 1799 . Although Hill Farm was originally founded as a wheat farm , the Hill family eventually transitioned into dairy and livestock in the 1830s . Over time , the farmhouse was also converted into an inn for visiting guests , and several ownership changes occurred over the course of the next several centuries . In 1996 , the farm ’ s last cow was sold and the dairy barn closed its doors , signifying the end of an era for the cherished farmstead .
