This group which was again active during the black civil rights movement in the sixties has regrouped but with a wider agenda to include the browns as the main threat to their American way of life and imagined cultural values.
America’ s history is steeped in violence and the glaring proof of this is the uniquely American obsession with guns. It must be a collective psyche driving a fear that they might one day be expelled from a country they stole. That is a migrant mentality.
Traditional diaspora brought in cheap labor in the form of slaves while modern diaspora brought in low paid workers but their children got superior education and in time, they began to form the emergent middle class.
There was another influx of talented students in search of superior education who when they qualified chose to stay as their skills were needed and this boosted the middle class and in time their presence was felt by holding prominent positions.
It is not lost to American purists that currently the so called traditional American blue-chip companies and especially tech companies are being run by immigrants and this contributes to a sense of losing control hence the evocation of nationalistic sentiments.
When people move in the modern diaspora, they tend to create communities abroad, this is natural as one oscillates toward familiar haunts. This has created a new problem in
America and is redefining the American political landscape.
In the past there was a need to assimilate and lose identity in the new world and identify as American first but a growing hostile environment is making migrants coalesce into distinct groups to gain political leverage and protection.
The Somali diaspora in America has succeeded in getting noticed for interesting reasons. They have consolidated their presence and now have political representation and have been involved in a major fraud scandal, which just means that they are now truly American.
The proceeds of the fraud are however not being channeled into Somalia, which is by and large a failed state, but into financing pirate activity in the Indian Ocean and allegedly converting sections of Kenyan real estate into mini Mogadishus.
The Jewish diaspora is what Americans should be currently concerned with since their lobby is so powerful that it has become America. Jews however still hold on to the mentality that they have a spiritual homeland that is occupied by Islamists.
It is easier to call them Islamists since calling them Palestinians is to legitimize a group that predates them even in their religious teachings and the only way, they can occupy the land promised by their god is to exterminate the legitimate dwellers.

So American initiates a big brother type of war with Iran on behalf of Israel and soon realizes that it can’ t win it. Even if they win, they still lose as the ill-advised war has destabilized the region and the primary victim of the fallout is ironically America.
The shockwaves from their illegal war have sent global seismic tremors and left an embarrassed American unable to figure out how to end the war without losing international face. Americans literally shot themselves in the foot.
America should perhaps stick to its avowed stand of considering America first and avoid getting involved in diaspora politics which it had began by an isolationist agenda by withdrawing from international obligations like NATO and WHO.
America is caught in a quagmire of its own making by trying to look strong with a weakening sphere of influence in the international arena. Americans have become bullies in an attempt to remain relevant in international geopolitics.
When diaspora politics dictate that America shall support Israel’ s suicidal missions it may help for Americans to pause and ask a rather simple question of whether it easier to stop fighting the world and make Israel Palestine again.
