PASSION PROFIT
10 Tips For A Thriving
Lifestyle
By Frida Owinga
I Create a “Me Day!”
I used to have this problem. I wanted to
help everyone and please everyone. But
since I surrendered this idea of doing it all,
I have found Peace, Joy and Liberty. Here When was the last time you set aside some
time just for you? Errands don’t count.
Even though you might enjoy picking
up groceries or going to the laundry or
hanging out with the boys, that’s time that
you’re spending on helping others instead
of yourself. You need to make a habit of
having uninterrupted time just for YOU
and your wellbeing. Take care of yourself.
After all that you do for others, you deserve
to take a little time to do something that
recently celebrated my 54th birthday
and I realized that thriving or enjoying
life is a choice and not a function of
what one has or doesn’t have.
If you’re like many of the people I meet,
you want to do everything and do it well!
You want to be a thriving professional,
spouse, parent, community leader and
friend. You’re trying to be the best person
you can be, and you end up doing so many
things!
are some of my top strategies for success
when it comes to living the hectic lifestyle.
Even in the middle of a packed schedule,
there’s nothing quite like giving back.
Contribute to humanity. Give back to
your family, your children, and grand-
children. Find a cause that’s meaningful
to you and set aside time or money for
that cause. It will help you feel a sense
of purpose and put things into perspec-
tive. Choose to support people who can’t
do it for themselves. I always like to say
that God’s gift is who you are and your
gift back to God is what you make of
your life.

Cultivate a Support Circle
Everyone needs support, it could be
support with house chores, looking good
and feeling good which applies to both
men and women in the modern day we
live in. The problem is traditionally ‘most
of this stuff ’ looking good, feeling good
or eating well, has been left to ladies even
though today the ladies are also busy, so I
recommend that if you want to thrive you
should identify areas you need stuff done
that affect your well being but are not
directly related to your career or profession
and get help for these areas so that you can
focus on your career without distraction.
Take advantage of
Productivity apps
Productivity apps are a great time saver!
For instance at PassionProfit we use
GSuite and all our documents are saved
in the cloud and accessible via any smart
device anywhere in the world any time. It
also reduces the risk of employees leaving
with company info on their devices while
giving you peace of mind and access to
what you value.
Nurture Relationships
Your friends shouldn’t just be your clients,
co-workers, or employees. If the only
people that you talk to are people who
you’re paying or people who are paying
you, it’s time to invest more in other
