the sun rise and set from a different part of the
world? To have a different taste on your taste
buds? To just see and let your feet feel the sand
from another ocean that you have always seen on
a map apart from the Indian Ocean? The Atlantic
Ocean or the Mediterranean Sea perhaps? There
are numerous benefits associated with travelling,
but I will touch upon those that I have personally
experienced.
Traveling improves your communication skills. It
makes you able to express yourself better. It gives
you ideas and different perspectives by making
you experience new things that allow you to have
content to contribute in conversations.
You might as well discover a new passion or
interest while travelling. You might go to Japan
and discover that you love Sake, or to France
and discover that you love medieval and ancient
architecture or to China and love Chow Mein, or
to Korea and love Kimchi.
Travelling is therapeutic. It gives you this sense of
renewed energy. Every time I travel I feel refreshed
and ready to face challenges. It disconnects me
from a daily routine. There are days when your
job is driving you nuts, you are overwhelmed by
family and your daily duties. Maybe all you just
need to take a step back travel and meditate.
Travelling also reintroduces you to yourself. This
is because it presents you with new challenges.
Handling them makes you feel truly confident
in who you are. These challenges also enable you
to learn things about yourself that you did not
know existed. You feel sharper, since you will be
required to find your way and navigate in new
places and transport systems. It also expands your
network, enables you to meet new people, make
new friends and expand your circle.
Now do you see why you need to upgrade your
reality? Anybody whose profession demands a
certain level of creativity should see the value in
travel.

started it." - Anonymous
