Elizabeth Trejo is a Harris County Extension Agent for Family and Consumer Sciences of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics, Provisional Teacher Certificate in Vocational Home Economics, and a Masters of Education in Counseling and Guidance.

Elizabeth has been an Extension Agent for 29 years and has served in several other counties including Hidalgo and Zapata. She has been a Harris County Agent for 20 years. In her current role, she gives leadership to the Financial Literacy Program and supervises the Better Living for Texans program. In 2016, she reached a total of 5,818 contacts with educational programs that helped individuals and families gain financial security; thereby, strengthening our neighborhoods and our county’s financial status.

Elizabeth has held many leadership positions in the Texas Extension Association of Family and Consumer Sciences including holding the office of state president. She is the current treasurer for Epsilon Sigma Phi, the Extension Professional’s Organization. Elizabeth has also been recognized for her professional accomplishments by receiving state and national awards and is a Level IV Agent in the Extension Professional Career Ladder.

As a Community Partner Support Specialist, Paige provides training and technical assistance to local organizations participating in the Health and Human Services Commission Community Partner Program. She hails from Indiana, where she studied public health and gained experience working with physical activity-based positive youth development programs. She is passionate about food and nutrition, mental health, and finding creative ways to make healthy living fun and accessible to all.
