This session will address some common barriers to success in an
ensemble music rehearsal and provide attendants with strategies to
overcome those barriers. Specific strategies addressed will include
"A-B-C teaching," working within a rehearsal frame, and other
research-backed strategies. We will have the opportunity to discuss
specific challenges, optional strategies for dealing with those
strategies, and will have hands-on practice using the strategies
within the context of this session.
