dollars. Both were installed over a weekend by volunteers but I think even I( who has about 0 ability with construction) could do them.
When guitar class or band begins all the materials are ready to go, off the floor, and have a home at the end class. The pegboard set up can change based on the musical needs and my percussionists feel like they have their own“ special” space so they seem to respect and utilize the board to be more productive in class.
Neither of these ideas are mine alone. I modeled the guitar rack idea from how guitars are stored at many music shops and I got the pegboard idea from the Band Director’ s Facebook group. Both of them, with a little community help, were quick and easy solutions to a problem that I’ ve wanted to address for years!
