2000 . Maimeri ’ s turnover has steadily increased non-stop since the end of the war . Thanks to Leone and Gianni , Maimeri grows at a rate of between 10 % - 20 % per annum . A new , bigger warehouse is urgently needed to meet customer demands . In September 1992 the structure ’ s extension is inaugurated . The area covered by the structure has reached 16,000 m ², the warehouse alone , has a volume of 14,000 m ³ and is controlled by a state-of-the-art IT system making it possible to rationalize time and warehousing and shipping operations . Maimeri becomes a S . p . A ( joint-stock company ). Gianni Maimeri concentrates on promoting the Maimeri trademark all over the world , it is an ambitious feat for him , but the winning factors of the Made In Italy product , together with his own skill , mean success is guaranteed .
All Maimeri brand articles are made in Italy in compliance with a specific decision taken by the company which , as a question of principle , excludes all possibility of delocalized production , waiving higher profit margins for the benefit of quality and its commitment to labour and Italy as a country . Maimeri has reformulated products , reducing and replacing raw materials which are harmful to man . The company is committed to implementing all measures possible for safeguarding the environment . Purification of waste water , separate waste collection , recovery of recyclable materials , research of new elements for eco-compatible packaging . Maimeri products are labelled in accordance with current regulations . Last but not least the high innovative factor of innovation is giving exceptional results .
So , from its humble beginnings as a small traditional workshop way back in 1923 , Maimeri today has become a point of reference for Italian and international artists alike .
