TRENDS OF NEXT YEAR
1) TWO-PIECE ENSEMBLE. This trend which I’m particularly most excited for is the two-piece ensemble that shows just the right amount of skin. Any cropped top and lady-like skirt will gracefully complement the body. This trend is most likely the easiest to find in stores or to even re-create with what you already have. Subtle yet sexy, this two-piece will be up for grabs in the new year.
2) FRINGE. A very simple way to incorporate movement into your outfit. Anything with this accent is bound to be a people-pleaser next year. So, yes, go get your Great-Gatsby-flapper feel on. This trend also has a very flirty-girly feel, and I’m totally diggin’ it.
3) FLORAL. If you’ve ever been mistaken for a flower-printed wall, you better have taken that as a compliment. Any floral that screams, “I’m bold!” will totally be relevant in 2015. Not for the faint of heart, expect to see lots of bright colours of the rainbow that may be a bit blinding.
4) GINGHAM. You may remember the good ol’ picnic blanket pattern. You know, the one with red and white. It’s the same concept but on your clothes. The freshness of this pattern is fit to go on anything next year from mini dresses to coats.
5) BOHEMIAN FLARE. The soft, airy, and dreamy nature of this silhouette has made it a very wearable trend. It will be a definite must-have during the spring and summer seasons. With a sense of freedom and liberty, the easily-styled dress can be simply worn with some bejeweled sandals. The bohemian silhouette has a very romantic feel to it, and everyone will be falling in love with the trend in 2015.
