Thank you to Emily Oxbury, Nathan Shoesmith, Harrison Hunter, Harrie Wright and Adele Newell for volunteering to attend outreach events at Framlingham Earl High School and Sewell Park Academy promoting the Sixth Form and encouraging prospective students to apply here.
Well done to all of the students who took part in the Health and Social Care First Aid course, it was great to see so many of you learning these new skills which could save someone’s life. The course lasted three days and covered topics including essential life support and CPR. Learning first aid is a great way to develop your CV, and will definitely be useful in the real world.
Thank you to James Taylor and Megan Scupham for setting up and running the Medic Society. The group has been really successful and has really helped a number of students as they prepare to apply to universities. The next meeting is at lunchtime on 13th November in S132, new members are very welcome.

All the staff have commented on what a good example you set to the younger students.
