Teaching pronunciation consonants: /p/ and /b/
Materials: Flashcards with the two sounds( or more depends on the teacher) written on them.
Activity # 10
The teacher will ask for two volunteers to go to the front. Then, the teacher will say:
-Tell me a word with sound/p/(the sound the teacher chooses) and the first one to answer stays standing. The one who loses goes back to his or her seat. Another volunteer will come up to compete with the winner of previous round.
Stage: Controlled practice:
Ask for two volunteers to go to the front. You will tell them to say a word with the sound /p/ or /b/ and they have to tell you where it is. The first one to answer stays standing and the other one loses.
Then another students will go to the front and compete with the last round's winner.
