INTERVIEW TO: HUMBERTO TORRES By: Jesus Abraham Amado The high prices in CETYS preparatoria is something to talk about. People always getting junk food over healthy food because of the high prices is a huge deal. To continue I will present to you an interview to a CETYS student that doesn’t bring his own food and has to buy it from cafeteria. 1. How much money do you spend in food in one day? Response: around $140 pesos in just one day. 2. What do you get yourself to eat? Response: usually is chicken with something like rice, some vegetables, among different other things. 3. Where do you spend the most money, in cafeteria or Vichys? Response: definitely in cafeteria. 4. Is the cafeteria menu varied? Response: no. I always consumed the same: tacos, teriyaki, pasta, chicken, and then again, pasta, teriyaki, chicken. 5. At the end of the week, how much money approximately do you spent? Response: a lot, around 800 pesos or more, because of the three recess and I train here. 6. Are you satisfied with what you consumed? Response: as I say, it is a cycle. There is no new things. It is always the same. 7. What would you add to the menu? Response: pork steak, fish fillet, chicken pot pie, salmon, different types of pasta, variety in the salads. Not everything has to be junk food. There are a lot of maruchans, donuts, cookies, fries, among other things. But people always buy that junk food because it is not as expensive as the healthy food.
