7. Final Magazine Pitch Project – Students will conceive and design a magazine
concept and create a cover letter, sample articles, ads, social media options, etc.
(More to come on this later.)
8. Final Magazine Pitch Presentation – Students will present their magazine
concept to the class in 10 – 15 minute pitches. Students must speak for at least
10 minutes. Your goal is to convince me (and the class) to invest in your
magazine.
NOTE: Miscellaneous in-class group projects, guest speakers, and field trips may also be
included in this course depending on availability of speakers, budgetary concerns, travel
schedules, and classroom behavior.
