Around that time a few other things happened to lead me down the path of the
entertainment business. The primary one was music. It wasn’t like the music of today. The music I
was influenced by actually had music to it. It had a melody. It had rhythm. It had understandable
lyrics that told a story…a complete story. They sang harmonies produced by actual voices, not
electronics. The musicians had talent. And each recording broke newer and newer ground in
production and technology.
When I was 7, my parents bought me a $35 guitar and I started taking lessons. Weekly.
