What’s the biggest challenge in your
industry? The biggest challenge in
public education communications
certainly centers around the speed
with which information can be
shared. Social media, text messaging,
as well as cell phones and other
devices make it so easy for people
to share information very quickly.
That obviously has huge advantages,
but it also poses many challenges.
Information that is inaccurate is shared
as quickly as information that is
accurate. A very important part of my
job is to make sure that messaging is
clear and concise before it goes out to
the public. An equally important part
of my job is being able to get that clear
and concise information out quickly.

What’s the best part of working in
Madison County? Madison County
is my home. I grew up in Berea,
graduated from Madison Central in
1983 and Berea College in 1989. I am
lucky to work in a growing, thriving
community with a very good lending
and banking in general environment.
The people here are fantastic, caring
and friendly. Madison County is a
pretty wealthy county so, it’s a great
place for Kentucky Bank and myself to
serve customers. What they said: “A life long resident
of Madison County, she strives for
excellence in her business and loves
helping people find the home of their
dreams. There have been many times I
have witnessed her drop whatever she
is doing (even run out of family holiday
gatherings), and run to help a client
with a home. She loves her job just that
much and is passionate about what she
does.”
What’s the best part of working in
Madison County? Customer Service.
At Kentucky Bank we strive for Premier
Customer Service, its part of every
meeting we have with staff. At the end
of the day, our money is the same as
every other bank in Madison County,
what we have special is our service.
We try to be better everyday than we
were the day before. If our customers
enjoy coming into our bank and have a
great experience with a warm, smiling,
helpful staff, they will come back.
