Last year, Richmond Tourism produced an African-America heritage guide highlighting the history of places such as churches and businesses, as well as notable historical figures and stories.
“ And it fills me with a lot of pride when you meet a family member, meet somebody that says, thank you so much for remembering this person and what they did for our community,” Tatum said.
