Perhaps one of the most unique features of Richmond is its blend of small-town charm and city vibrance.
Richmond ranks seventh in the list of Kentucky’ s
|
largest cities, and continues to grow and expand, but has not forgotten an important part of its identity – being nestled in the heart of the bluegrass.
And that, of course, means horses.
You will find all sorts
|
of people over at Chuck Givens Arena. From a small boy on a little horse named Cheeto, giggling the whole way through as his dad led him around the barrels, to seasoned riders aiming for the American Quarter Horse Association world |
championships.
Young and old still hold on tight to the famous Kentucky tradition of riding horses – wind in their hair, determination in their eyes, cowboy hats, boots, and dirt flying everywhere.
The American Dream.
