REALITY OF TODAY ' S YOUTH

oday the most common news after politics and molestation is of suicide by
Tyoungsters. And they do suicides because of reasons like some meaningless break up, status guilt, drug addiction, MMS scandals, failure in some exam or some other goal, getting in some odd jobs etc. Other than suicide other way they found is of revenge, revenge with death( murder) because of the same reasons indeed.
Gumrah- the end of innocence, is a show where channel [ v ] brings to you some real life shocking teen and youth crime cases. A show which revolves around the crimes committed by teenagers and youngsters intentionally or unintentionally which changed their lives forever. Gumrah attempts to discover the larger reason behind these crimes. The youth of today in order to attain what they desire, explore shortcuts. This show features the misdeeds and crimes committed by youngsters and figures out the larger issues behind them. Gumrah throws light on youthful crime tales. This unique idea has surely detected viewers in the Indian TV scenario.
Channel v ' s major audience is youth and thus this one of a kind reality based crime related show presents crime related incidents committed by young people. Hosted by one of the youth icon: Karan Kundra, the show needs no introduction today. This show has made its own huge audience and viewers. Every of its episode comes with a new and shocking story. It has faced some criticism from some of the guardians who found it critical to be seen by their children. As, it shows the darkest phase of youths sometimes uncomfortable scenes are included. But the show needs it to be portrayed in the best way it can be telecast to correctly reach their viewers.
For we youths it ' s an opportunity to know and learn from the stories shown in the show. As in this phase of our life mistakes happen somehow this show gives us the acknowledgment of mistakes so, that we can avoid it or handle it wisely. At the end of each episodes host tells about the precaution we should be taking in this phase of our life.
Types of stories included are stories of suffering, odd or bad connections with bad people, stories of crime in own family: in this particular type old age killings in included, murder of a relative for money and etc. kidnap because of jealousy, MMS scandals deteriorating life, gang wars, etc. among them few of the most liked and watched stories are " internet can kill ", it showcases how today ' s generation, especially youngsters, use the internet casually without having the idea of its ill effects. This episode unfolds two stories simultaneously, first one is based on updating personal status on a social networking site and second one incorporates video chatting with strangers. " The lipstic killer ", the story was about an ambitious girl’ s ego who was cheated by her friend, she was gang raped and killed.
At last I ' ll conclude giving a suggestion for us youths as I realized many of the crimes at our age would have collapsed if we don ' t have the communication gap with our parents. I suggest it ' s time for us to learn from others mistake and to eliminate the communication gap. And as a regular viewer of the show I ' ll say it’ s a must watch show and be safe I definitely don’ t want your story in the next episode of Gumrah.
