Saurabh Verma , Managing Director STEPS Assured Pvt . Ltd . Pune e all know and understand that the Indian Education System is flawed ,

Wbut what we do not know is , what we as people can do about it without waiting for the intervention from governing bodies .

The sole purpose of this article is focus on the things that we can do to fight the erroneous nature of the Indian Education System and to prepare ours and the next generation to a better generation that could ever be .
More Marks , Better Life does it hold true ?
The biggest drawback of our education system is the nature of it being focused solely on MARKS , the more the MARKS the better one is considered ; and the flaw of marks oriented system is it can be gimmicked , to provide unfair advantages to a certain few , while leaving the rest at the bay . My question to you is simple ! Does it mean the more the marks the more intelligent or successful you are in real life ? Ask yourself , if it is true then all those people who have had the highest marks and the best of academics should be the most successful people in this world , but then , why is it that the more of B and C category people are on top of the ladders and climbing faster than the A category . When you have thought about it , then we come to the solution for this : Focusing more on personal development and excellence is the key to beat the number game , this not only enhances your chances of doing better and being more successful in life , but also gives you a better chance to boost your self-esteem and in process making you a meaningful contributor to your family as well as the society at large . This doesn ' t mean we should forget the numbers , rather it means developing ourselves to think above the numbers and being better at life and not just schools and colleges .
Focusing more on personal development and excellence is the key to beat the number game
Job Oriented Education is it worth the job ?
The second most major flaw , with not only our education system but the worldwide education system is it shifting from being knowledge oriented to being job oriented ; today almost all of us study with the only goal as getting a job , in process focusing too much on ROTE LEARNING , and some-where-down the line
