MCA UPDATE
Greetings MAA members and MCAs , I hope this message finds everyone doing well .
December 2020
October ’ s MCA exam was a success and we ’ re happy to welcome 14 new MCAs to our ranks . Thanks to the MCA committee , MAA Board members and MAA management team for ensuring that the exam ran smoothly . We were able to accommodate nearly 50 exam candidates over two sessions on October 4 .
Registration is open for the April 2 , 2021 exam . I recommend registering well in advance . Demand for the exam is high and seats are limited due to Covid .
Be sure to take a moment to check out the new online MCA Recertification Tally Sheet located at MassArbor . org . I filled my own sheet out last month and the process is really straightforward . It ’ s been an unusual year but MCAs have more flexibility than ever in how to earn credits – and more opportunities with MAA in December to do so .
This is my last message as committee chairperson before I turn the reigns over to Rachel Brinkman , MCA . It has been a pleasure to volunteer with the MCA Committee . If anyone out there would like to serve on the committee someday , I encourage you to contact the MAA office to learn more about the opportunity .
