The day was wrapped up with a celebration towards the great work those who support the FGM community are doing and the work that they carry out and continue to do. Music, food and new friendships were enjoyed during the festivities, uniting those who attended as they spoke of their plans and endeavours to challenge this act, to disseminate their education and furthermore to end FGM indefinitely. Indeed, it seems that the roots of their cause will grow as strong and as vast as their positivity to a cause which is undeniably akin to the strength and, that will flourish beyond the heights of which their tree was planted.
